We're a mixed bunch of crazy, mixed up humans, struggling with the complexities of life. Too often we look at each other and find each other wanting, without ever stopping to think that the human condition we all share indicates that none of us will be perfect.
You can't fight humanity, yours or that of others, but you can learn to celebrate the differences, and move gently away if you can't cope with them. You will never get on with everyone, and it's a simple step to conclude that you need to spend your time with people you get, and who get you.
Don't make human interaction any more complex than that.
